Tips for use and care
Please read the following instructions carefully before using it for
the first time and follow the directions and instructions for use. If
you follow this advice, you can use the enamelled cast iron pots
for a lifetime.
SAFETY NOTE
Attention : The Dutch Oven gets extremely hot on all
parts during use. To avoid burns, only lift the lid with
heat-resistant gloves or a spe¬cial lid lifter. Never touch
or carry the pot during use without heat protection. Al-
ways place the Dutch Oven on a suitable, heat-resistant
surface and do not quench it with cold water.
Before first use
Before using the pot for the first time, be sure to clean it tho-
roughly with hot water and washing-up liquid. Rinse carefully and
dry off. Dishwasher cleaning is possible. However, it can dull the
enamelled finish over time. This is harmless and does not affect
the cooking properties. We therefore recommend cleaning by
hand with warm soapy water and a nylon brush to preserve the
original appearance and enamel finish optimally.
Important
! Do not burn in!
Otherwise, the enamelled coating will be damaged.
