●
To lock the gas pressure spring into place, press down on the cross-handle and put it in the locked position.
7.3.3. Emptying the coarse particle collection tank
●
To empty the coarse particle collection tank, lift the sieve compartment cover by the handle and open it. The cover is held by
two gas pressure springs when opened and closed.
●
You can easily remove the collection tank using the provided handles and empty it.
●
After repositioning the two mesh boxes, close the sieve compartment cover.
7.3.4. Removing and replacing the coarse particle sieve
●
To remove and replace the coarse particle sieve, lift the sieve compartment cover by the handle and open it.
●
The cover is held by two gas pressure springs when opened and closed.
●
Remove the coarse particle collection tank.
●
Open the quick-release closures on both sides of the gearbox by lifting the red lever.
●
After opening the closures, lift up the retaining rail holding down the edge of the sieve.
●
There are two hooks in a bracket below the left coarse particle tank.
●
Remove these hooks
●
Hook the hooks into the sieve holes from the brush side where the closures are located.
●
Pull the sieve insert out by evenly pulling up on the hooks.
●
To install the coarse particle sieve, guide it with the slightly convex side (across from the side with the chamfered angle
profile) into the gap between the sieve brush roller and separator (sheet metal wall on which the closures are located).
● Also make sure that the chamfered angle profile on the sieve is pointing to the back.
●
Now push the sieve insert by evenly pushing down on both sides.
●
Make sure, in particular, that the sieve does not tilt to the side and get jammed. It is equally important to push the sieve in to
the end stop. The final position is reached when the chamfered angle profile is lying on the separator.
●
Now hang the retainer rail back in on the edge of the sieve.
●
Lower the handle to lock the sieve into place.
●
Put the hooks into the provided bracket on the left.
●
Replace the coarse particle tanks.
7.3.5. Deteriorated sieve performance
If you have the impression that after a certain period of use the sieve performance deteriorates without an obvious reason
(e.g. high levels of humidity in the backfill material) check the sieve insert for clogged sieve openings. Stone particles and
other contamination can get caught in the sieve openings and close the opening. If this happens on a large scale, the sieve
performance will decrease significantly.
●
To rectify this situation, remove the sieve and remove the foreign bodies from the openings.
● Check again to make sure the hold diameter of the sieve is suitable for the grain size of the backfill material.
7.3.6. Maintaining supplied system components
●
Comply with the maintenance instructions in the documentation for the supplied system components.
7.4.
Repair
Repairs on the SVR Deep Cleaner may only be performed by trained and authorized operator technicians. The instructions in this chapter
are limited to important, general information and instructions that must be followed when performing repairs.
The following applies to all installation and disassembly work:
●
Mark parts that belong together.
●
Mark the installation position and location and keep records.
●
After reinstallation, retighten all mechanical connections.
