Warning.
Do not perform service or maintenance while the Detector is in use.
Warning.
Always check the instrument before use for signs of damage. If the
instrument is damaged or gives unexpected performance or operation, then
cease using the device and ensure that it is serviced before recommencing use
of the device.
The Pintuition Detector does not require any specific routine user or service engineer
maintenance.
The Pintuition Detector must be visually checked before each use for signs of damage.
If the device is damaged, gives unexpected performance or operation, perform a System test
according to Section 4.3 (System Test: Using the Test Kit).

EPLACING THE

USE
Warning.
Always replace any external fuse with the type and rating specified in
Section 7 (Technical Specifications).
The Pintuition Detector contains a user-serviceable external fuse. The fuse is accessible
through the fuse cover

. If the fuse is blown, a technician or other sufficiently trained user
can replace the fuse.

EPAIRS
Warning.
No modification of this equipment is allowed, do not open or repair the
Pintuition Base Unit or Pintuition Probe. Opening may expose dangerous
electrical components. Always contact Sirius Medical Systems for service.
The Pintuition Detector has no user-serviceable internal components other than the fuse. Try
to resolve any maintenance issues with the Pintuition Detector by using the table in Section 8
(Troubleshooting).
If you are unable to resolve the problem, contact Sirius Medical Systems, see contact
information in Section 8.3 (Obtaining Technical Assistance).
The warranty will be void upon unauthorized disassembly or service of the Pintuition Detector.

ISPOSAL
Dispose of the Pintuition Probe and Pintuition Base Unit in accordance with the
WEEE directive 2012/19/EU.
Do not dispose of the devices as unsorted municipal waste.
Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and
human health.
Note.
Follow your institutes procedures to ensure decontamination of the device
prior to safe disposal.
