Reader Operation

Basic Operation with RST

The ID

entity

5100 can be operated either from the RST application or by

logging directly into the reader’s embedded Reader Configuration Tool
(RCT). To operate the reader from RST, perform the following:

Open RST

From your Windows desktop, select:

Start

→

Programs

→

Sirit

→

IDentity5100

→

Reader Startup Tool

Select a specific reader and press Test.

The Reader Test Tool (RTT) is displayed.
