Important Warning
When first connecting to the QUARTZ-GOLD, all settings will be at factory default.
This is so you can easily access the router for configuration, but this also means that
anyone else could as well.
To prevent the QUARTZ-GOLD and your network from being compromised,
it is
recommended that you immediately do the following
:
1.
Change the login username/password. This can be done by accessing the
‘Administration > Admin Access’ page (that is also accessible from the password
warning at the top of the page)
2. Either enable Security on the WiFi and set a password, or disable the WiFi if not
being used. The 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi channels work independently, so they
independently need to be configured. This can be done by accessing the ‘WLAN
> Basic Settings’ page.
