6 Use a control keyboard
The HD18 SA camera uses the Pelco D protocol by default. This chapter describes how to
integrate a Pelco D keyboard.

6.1 Baud
The default baud of the HD18 SA is set to 9600. Make sure that your control keyboard uses a
compatible baud.
6.2 Functions
Function Instruction
Set Preset Number key + press and hold the <Preset> button for three
seconds
Go Preset Number key + <Preset> to command a dome camera to go to a
specific preset position
Display or hide an
OSD menu 7 7 <Preset>
Move cursor in OSD
menu Move the cursor up/down/right/left by pushing the joystick up/
down/right/left, respectively
<ENTER> 7 7 <Preset>
Reset the dome
camera 7 8 <Preset>
