Check if the hitch is leaned forward for 2º. A look at 
the curtain (1) may help: its lower side edge should 
be equally distant from the floor. 

–

 

Adjust the upper bar (2) suitably. 

 

 

–

 

The recommended inclination allows 
mowing at a height of 40 – 70 mm. 

–

 

The mower is designed with a forward 
tilt angle of 2º prior to the connection.  

–

 

The tilt angle of the hitch in the 
direction of travel must not exceed 7º.

 

 
 

2.3 P.T.O.shaft 

 

2.3.1 General 

 

 

–

 

After connecting the machine to the 3 
point hydraulic hitch bar switch off the 
engine and pull out the ignition key. 
Secure tractor against movement! 

–

 

The PTO shaft is installed with a safety 
clutch. The safety clutch protects the 
tractor and mower against damage. Do 
not handle the safety clutch during 
operation! 

–

 

If you do not follow the instructions 
given above, the guarantee becomes 
void.

 

 
 

2.3.2 P.T.O. shaft length adjustment 

 

 

–

 

Switch off the P.T.O. shaft when 
performing check up, maintenance, 
repair and mount works. Switch off the 
engine and pull out the ignition key. 
Secure the tractor from movement. 

–

 

Nobody is allowed to stay between 
tractor and machine when lowering the 
mower with the hydraulics. 

–

 

Danger of material damage: Do not 
lower the machine with the hydraulics 
before the P.T.O. shaft length is 
adjusted!

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
–

 

To adjust the length of the cardan shaft pull the 
both halves apart. 

–

 

Place the corresponding cardan shaft halves on the 
machine's side (1) and on the tractor's side (2). 
Safety clutch must be mounted on the 
machine's side! 

–

 

Set the machine with 3 point hitch to the shortest 
position of the P.T.O. shaft. 

–

 

Hold both halves together and measure out the 
right length. 

–

 

For further measurements and adjustments use 
the instructions of the P.T.O. shaft manufacturer. 

–

 

The length of the cardan shaft in operating position 
may be extended to a maximum of 1/2 of length.  

–

 

At standstill, the cardan shaft may be extended to a 
maximum of 2/3 of length.
