Supplied with the motorcycle jack are two ratchet straps (1” wide x 15ft long), to use 

the ratchet straps follow the steps below 

 

Securing a vehicle with the ratchet straps:

 

 

Place the ratchet lever in the closed position (Fig.6) 
Put the other end of the strap through the spindle centre, then loop it back over 

the spindle (Fig.7). 
Slightly tighten the strap by ratcheting the ratchet lever back and forth for about 

5 or 6 times. 
Place one hook on the hook support of the frame and pass the strap over the 

vehicle. Hook onto the opposite  hook support. 
Fully  tighten  the  strap  by  ratcheting  the  ratchet  lever  back  and  forth  until  it  is 

tight. 
When the strap is tight lock the ratchet by pushing the ratchet lever down so it is 

in the closed position. 
Repeat above steps for the other ratchet strap.

Note: 

Do  not  use  pliers  or  similar  to  operate  the  ratchet  lever,  this  could 

possibly damage the ratchet mechanism and void any warranty you may 

have. 

Releasing the ratchet straps: 

 

Hold the ratchet in one hand and with the other hand pull back on the release 

latch. 
Whilst still holding the release latch, open the ratchet lever fully so it passes the 

locking gears and releases the load. 
To completely remove the strap, pull up on the ratchet and slide the strap out.
