Caution: 

Take care when lowering the jack that nothing can get trapped 

in the moving parts of the jack, or under the vehicle. 

 

1.  Lower the lifting saddle to its lowest position. 

2.  Place the jack on its side. 

3.  With  a  cross  headed  screwdriver,  unscrew 

the oil fill screw fully from the hydraulic unit.  

4.  Fill  with  SAE  5W  hydraulic  oil  until  it  reaches 

the bottom of the threads. 

5.  Refit the oil fill screw. 

   ADDING OIL 

Note: 

Do not touch either the foot pedal or the release pedal when filling 

with oil.

1. 

Pump the foot pedal so that both height lock bars clear both ridges on either 

side of the frame. 

2. 

Pull back on the height lock release bar and push into the retaining clip to se-

cure it. 

3. 

Press down gently on the release pedal until it reaches the lowest position. 

4. 

Remove both ratchet straps. 

5. 

The vehicle can now be removed. 

   OIL CHANGE 

For the best performance and longest life, completely change the oil at least once 

per year. Always dispose of hydraulic oil in accordance with local regulations.

This SIP motorcycle jack is covered by a 12 month parts and labour warranty covering 

failure due to manufacturers defects. This does not cover failure due to misuse or op-

erating the vehicle jack outside the scope of this manual - any claims deemed to be 

outside the scope of the warranty may be subject to charges Including, but not lim-

ited to parts, labour and carriage costs.  

 

This guarantee does not cover consumables such as rubber pads and oil etc. 

 

 

In the unlikely event of warranty claims, contact your distributor as soon as possible.
