Joining a radio network
You must join the radio network which you want your operation to be a part of. If another
radio site has created a new radio network, you might want to become a part of this network.
Context
If you are out of range of the radio network at the time you carry out this procedure, the
radio will automatically detect the radio network and establish a connection when you
are within reach of this network.
Procedure
1 Select the
System menu
button, , in the top right corner of the display to open the
System
menu.
2 Under
Network
, select
Join
to open the
Join network
dialog box.
3 Type the name of the radio network you want to join.
