Panel mounting

Cut a hole in the panel where the AR68/AR77 is to be
fitted. For panel cut-out dimensions, refer to drawings on
page 8 and page 9.

Locate the unit in the hole.

Use the enclosed mounting bracket, studs and wing nuts to
clamp the unit firmly in the panel as shown on the figure.

Electrical installation
Caution!
Any voltage supplies other than those stipulated in the product
specification may cause damage to the repeater.
The AR68/AR77 is designed to run on 24VDC and accepts a
digital data RS422 signal.
The incoming cable to the repeater has a 15 pin female D-type
connector. The cable is supplied pre-wired with a 2.5 m length
of six connector screened cables, to which the ship’s cable is
connected.
Note!
It is recommended to connect the AR68/AR77 via an external
switch for the possibility to reset the unit.
The following table indicates the function of all cores and their
identification.
