4. To drive backward, move the speed control lever to one
of the reverse positions (R1 or R2).
5. Push and hold down the traction control lever.
6. To stop the unit, release the traction control lever. The
unit will stop immediately. If it does not:
• Adjust the control cable. See
Adjusting the Traction
Control Cable.
• If the unit still does not stop, see an authorized
dealer.
NOTICE
Do not overload the machine capacity by
removing snow at too fast of a rate.
Using the Steering Control
The Steering Control feature (Figure 9 ) helps the operator
turn the unit. The Steering Control levers are below the hand
grips. The Steering Control temporarily disengages one drive
wheel while the other continues to drive through the turn.

To Turn Left:
Lift and hold the left Steering Control Lever (Figure 10 )
located below the left-hand grip.
Note:
The Steering Control feature will be more difficult to
activate under a heavy load. Activate the lever before a turn.

To Turn Right:
Lift and hold the right Steering Control Lever (Figure 11)
located below the right-hand grip.
