LED Behavior (Front Panel)
The front panel contains the LED status indicator.
LED Behavior (Front Panel)
The upper LED on the front panel of the drive has two states:
• Steady white glow : The drive is on and ready for use
• Blinking : The drive is active (read, write, rebuild)
The lower LED on the front panel of the drive has two states:
• Steady red glow : Single drive failure (only applicable when drive is
configured for RAID 1 mirroring)
• Off : Normal operation

Blinking: Drive active (read/write)
LED Status
Off: Normal
Red: Single drive failure (RAID 1)
