NOTe.
The adapter can only be used in conjunction with the IPHONe4® and a
SimonsVoss App from the Apple App Store®. Mifare Classic is the tech-
nology used (preparations underway for DeSFire).
The adapter contains NFC (Near Field Communication) hardware with
protection from attacks. The associated protected data memory can
be written to via an Internet connection – by means of the App – from
the LSM. The smartphone must therefore be able to establish a stable
Internet connection to download the access rights. The access rights are
put into interim storage on what is known as an OTA (“Over The Air”, i.e.
it can be accessed via mobile phone networks) server (push connection
between LSM and OTA server).
