CAUTION
It is compulsory:
– to connect the boiler to a 230v -50Hz single phase
power supply through a fused mains switch, with
at least 3mm spacing between contacts, fused at
3amps
– if the power cable is to be replaced, that ONLY
a special cable is used with a factory produced
re-wired connector, ordered as a spare part and
connected by a professionally qualified person
– to connect the earth wire to an effective earthing
system (*)
– that before any work is done on the boiler, the
mains power is disconnected by setting the main
system switch to "OFF".
(*) Sime Ltd declines all responsible for any injury or damage
to persons, animals,or property as a result of failure to
provide adequate earthing of the appliance.
d
DO NOT
Do not use water pipes for earthing the appliance.
6.13.1 External sensor
The boiler is designed for connection to an external
temperature sensor code 8094101, which will automatically
regulate the central heating delivery temperature.
This means that the delivery temperature of the boiler can
vary on the basis of the external temperature depending on
the climatic curve selected from those shown in the diagram
(Fig. 26).
When fitting the sensor on the outside of the building, follow
the instructions provided on the packaging of the product
itself.

CAUTION
If there is an external sensor, the heating delivery
SET is corrected using correction factor K in order to
adapt better to the user's needs. To modify this value,
carry out the same procedure as when modifying the
heating SET but with the possible range between 0.0
and 9.0.
6.13.2 External timers and Room Thermostats
The heat demand can be by a "clean contact" conforming to
EN607301 connected to TA (see section “Wiring diagram”) or
by use of a dedicated Sime Remote Control (Home or Home
Plus). The boiler will automatically detect when a dedicated
control is connected.
