3 MAINTENANCE

WARNING
– The maintenance operations described below must
ONLY be carried out the professionally qualified
personnel
who MUST wear
suitable protective safety
equipment.
– Make sure that the system components and pipes
are not hot (risk of burns).
– Prior to performing any assistance and/or
maintenance operation on the appliance, the latter
must be isolated from all energy sources.
3.1
General information
– The system will reach optimal performance levels two days
after it is installed.
– We recommend regularly inspecting the glass cover of the
collectors and cleaning it if it has dust, snow or anything
else that can interfere with the sun’s rays, checking it for any
cracks on the surface, and replacing it as soon as possible if
damaged.
– Check the anti-freeze liquid in the circuit at least once a year
and top it up if necessary.
– Check at least once a year all the valves, verify that the bolts
and nuts are properly tightened and check the stability of the
support frame.
– In case of extended periods of inactivity, cover the collectors
to avoid damages to the entire system.
– Regularly check for the presence of leakages, anomalies on
piping, air bubbles in the system and all piping connections.
4 WARRANTY TERMS AND
CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS
General terms and conditions:

The warranty takes effect from the date of installation and
initial start-up of the device.

Damages due to natural disasters, force majeure,
earthquakes and extreme frost are not covered.

Damages due to improper use, incorrect installation, and
incorrect electrical wiring are not covered.

The warranty shall not apply if the appliance is installed or
subjected to maintenance by unauthorised personnel.

All parts used for maintenance and/or repairs must be
original or equivalent.

Claims will not be covered if the warranty document has
not been filled in and a copy has not been sent to the
manufacturer and/or distributor or local authorised dealer.

The warranty shall not apply if routine maintenance has not
been carried out.

The validity period of the warranty will not be renewed if
any repairs are carried out within the period covered by the
warranty.

The warranty is limited to the cost for workmanship
required for replacing and/or repairing the defective parts.
Loss or secondary damages are not covered.

The costs for transporting the defective materials, and
travel and lodging expenses for technicians are not covered.

If continuous high temperatures are expected and the
collectors have been oversized due to the unfavourable
installation position during certain periods of the year, it
is mandatory to install a thermostatic safety valve or an
expansion vessel on the primary circuit (solar). The warranty
shall be voided if the thermostatic valve or expansion vessel
are not installed.

Routine maintenance is mandatory for the warranty to be
considered valid.
