SAFETY WARNINGS AND RULES
m WARNINGS
– After having removed the packaging,
make sure that the supplied product is
intact and complete in all its parts. If
this is not the case, please contact the
Dealer who supplied the product.
– The system must be used as intended
by
Sime
which cannot be held liable
for any harm caused to people or
damage to animals or objects due to
incorrect installation, adjustment or
maintenance and improper use of the
appliance.
– In order to ensure optimal efficiency
of the product, Sime recommends
performing maintenance and check on
an
ANNUAL
basis.
–
All operators are advised
to read this
manual carefully in order to use the
appliance in a safe and logical manner.
– Any technical assistance and
maintenance intervention on the
appliance must be carried out by
qualified personnel.
– In case of water leakages, close the
water supply and promptly notify
the Technical Assistance Service or
professionally qualified personnel.
– If the appliance malfunctions, it is
advisable to deactivate it and request
the intervention of the technical
assistance service.
– If the appliance is not used for
extended periods of time, we suggest
contacting the Technical Assistance
Service for carrying out at least the
following operations:
• Close the hot water system shut-
off devices
• Switch off the associated generator
by consulting the specific booklet
of the appliance
• Shift the main switch (if present)
and the general switch of the
system to “off”
• Drain the space heating and
domestic hot water systems if
there is the risk of freezing.

This manual
is an integral part of the
product. It must therefore be stored
with care for future reference and
must always accompany the appliance
whenever the latter is transferred or
sold to another owner or user or is
installed on another system.

Installation and maintenance
of
the product must be carried out
by an authorised company or by
professionally qualified personnel,
in accordance with the instructions
contained in this manual. At the end of
installation operations, these subjects
must issue a statement of compliance
with national and local technical
standards and laws in force.

reserves the right
to make changes to its products at any
time and without prior notice in order
to improve them without altering their
essential characteristics. All graphic
illustrations and/or pictures appearing
in this document can contain optional
accessories that vary in relation to the
country where the appliance is used.

The manufacturer shall not be held liable
for damages to the product or to third
parties caused by incorrect installation.
– Make sure that all the safety
regulations are observed when work
is conducted on rooftops:
• take every necessary precaution to
avoid the risk of falls;
• use all relevant safety equipment;
• after completing the installation,
make sure that the collectors are
properly anchored to the structure.
– Install the support frame of the solar
collectors only on roofs capable of
withstanding the relevant loads. In
certain cases it may be helpful to
consult a structural engineer for
conducting static tests on the roof
on which the equipment must be
installed.
– It is necessary to consider all the
characteristics of the installation site
(snow load and wind load) that could
increase the stress bearing on the roof.
