Risk of injury
Before putting your hands into the smoothie container (8) or the multifunctional container (6),
(for example, to remove stubborn food residues from the cutting blades (5) or (9)) or
removing the motor unit (2) from the multifunctional container, always remove the mains plug
from the mains socket and ensure that the cutting blades (5) or (9) are no longer turning.
Problem Possible causes Remedy
The smoothie maker
does not work. Mains plug not connected Connect the mains plug to a live mains socket.
Motor unit (2) not fitted
correctly to lid (3) Place the motor unit (2) properly on to the
lid (3). See steps 5 to 7 in the section on
"Setting up and filling the device” on page 15.
Smoothie container (8)
incorrectly seated on the motor
unit (2) Place the smoothie container (8) onto the motor
unit (2) correctly. See steps 1 to 3 in the section
on "Operation” on page 12.
Thermal overload protection Remove the mains plug from the mains socket
and wait around 15 minutes. The Smoothie
Maker should then work normally again.
The cutting blades
(5) or (9) are
turning slowly or not
at all. Cutting blades (5) or (9) are
blocked or the food is too
tough. Remove any solid residues from the smoothie
container (8) or the multifunctional
container (6).
If necessary, add a little liquid to the smoothie
container (8) or the multifunctional
container (6).
The motor unit (2) is not
properly connected to the
smoothie container (8) or the
multifunctional container (6). Check that you have assembled the smoothie
maker correctly.

disposed of separately from household waste at official disposal centres.
Do not dispose of the appliance in household waste or bulky waste collections.
