Fill the inner bowl 

i

 with around 0.5 litres of water and place it back inside the 

appliance.

 

♦

Replace the lid

 in the position it was in when you removed it. Turn the lid

anticlockwise by the handle

 until the stop.

Use the supplied power cord 

a

 to connect the mains connection socket

 with 

a properly connected and grounded power socket that supplies the voltage 
specifi ed in the section “Technical data”.

Allow the appliance to heat up for about 6 minutes. Proceed as described in the 
section “Operation”. 

 NOTE

 

►

The fi rst time the appliance heats up, a small amount of smoke and odour 
may be generated due to production-related residue. This is normal and is 
completely harmless. Ensure suffi  cient ventilation; for example, by opening 
a window.

 

♦

At the end of the cooking phase, the appliance emits 3 beeps. Then pull the plug 
of the power cord

 out of the mains socket and allow the appliance to cool 

down for at least 30 minutes.

Clean the appliance and the inner bowl

 again.

Turn the lid
