Inserting/changing the remote control batteries
NOTE
► The supplied battery (type CR2025) is already installed in the remote control
on delivery. Before use remove the insulation strip from the battery compartment.
To replace the battery proceed as follows:
♦ Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control by
pressing in the catch at the side and, at the same time, pulling
the battery compartment out.
♦ Remove the depleted battery and insert a new battery of the
type CR2025 (button cell) into the battery compartment.
Be sure to insert the battery according to the polarity (the plus
sign must point upwards).
♦ Slide the battery compartment back into the remote control until it locks into
place.
Charging the speaker
CAUTION
► Charge the speaker only in dry interior spaces.
♦ Remove the rubber cover from the charger socket on the underside of the
speaker .
♦ Connect the USB plug of the charger cable to the mains adapter and connect
the other end of the charger cable to the speaker charging socket .
♦ Plug the mains adapter into a properly installed power socket. The lower part of
the speaker lights up red and the battery will be charged. As soon as the red light
goes off, the integrated battery is fully charged.
♦ Pull the charger cable out of the charging socket and replace the rubber
cover .
NOTE
► The charging time is approximately 5 hours with a charging current of 1 A and
allows music playback of up to 5 hours at a medium volume. The playback
time may vary depending on usage (volume/lighting).
► When the battery is depleted, the speaker flashes red for about 10 seconds
and switches off.
