Fault
Possible cause
Remedy
Water drips from
the soleplate
.
If the steam ironing is briefl y
interrupted, the cooling steam
condenses in the connecting
hose
. This can lead to drips.
This is normal. Hold the iron over
a cloth or container and press
the steam blast button
. After
a few seconds, steam will come
out of the soleplate
instead
of water. Then you can continue
ironing.
The set temperature is too low for
steam ironing.
Set a temperature suitable for
steam ironing (at least ● ●).
Wet patches occur
on the items being
ironed.
Such patches may occur due to
steam condensing on the ironing
board.
Wipe the wetness from the
ironing board and iron the wet
patches dry (without steam).
The water tank
is fi lled but the
"Water tank empty"
indicator
keeps
lighting up.
The water tank
is not fi rmly
attached to the appliance.
Check that the water tank
is seated correctly on the
appliance.
