Reset function/Safety cut-out

This appliance is equipped with a safety cut-out to protect the motor.

If fruit pieces get stuck and the appliance turns itself oﬀ, the safety cut-out has
tripped. The appliance switches itself oﬀ before the motor can be damaged due
to overheating.

The appliance cannot be switched back on until you reset the safety cut-out.
Proceed as follows to be able to use the appliance again:

–

Set the On/Oﬀ switch

to the “O” position and pull the plug of the

power cable

out of the socket. Allow the appliance to cool down

for 10–15 minutes.

–

Turn the housing lid

anticlockwise until the

marking points towards

the

marking on the sieve tray

–

Remove the housing lid

–

Remove the fruit or vegetable pieces causing the blockage.

–

Carefully remove the sieve tray

and turn the appliance base

over.

–

Insert the plug of the power cable

into a mains socket.

–

Press the RESET button

that is on the underside of the appli-

ance base

–

Pull the plug of the power cable

out of the socket and turn the

appliance base

over.

–

Reassemble the appliance as described in the following section and
continue with juice extraction.

Before using the appliance for the ﬁrst time, clean all component parts
thoroughly as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.

■

Install the appliance in accordance with the safety instructions.
