7. Cleaning
Clean the device prior to its first use!

When washing manually, the water
should be sufficiently clear that you can
see the blade easily.

Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
Wiping off
• Wipe off the motor unit

with a damp
cloth and, if necessary, some mild deter-
gent.
Dishwasher / Washing off
• The blender

… cleaned in the dishwasher, or
… washed by hand in warm water with
detergent. Afterwards, rinse the
blender with clean water.
• Dry all parts carefully, before reassem-
bling the device and storing it.
Some cleaning tips
• Preferably clean the blender

ately after use, to prevent food residues
from drying on and sticking to the hand
blender.
• After processing very salty foodstuffs,
the blender

should be rinsed immedi-
ately.
8. Storage

Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.

In order to avoid accidents, the mains
plug

must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
9. Troubleshooting
If your device fails to function as required,
please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is
only a minor problem, and you can solve it
yourself.
