Drying and styling hair
■
To quickly dry hair, we recommend fi rst of all using a high blower and heater
setting for a short period. Also, place the Ionic switch-in

at the position
“
”. After drying the hair, switch to a lower blower and heat level to
shape the hairstyle.
■
With the supplied styling jet

you can apply a directed airfl ow to shape
and style your hair. Attach the styling jet
1
onto the front of the hair dryer,
such that it engages and is fi rmly seated into place. You can then turn the
styling jet

into the desired position.
■
If you wish to dry your hair particulary gently, or create a so-called “air-
dryed permanent wave”, then use the diff usor attachment

. To do this, if
needs be fi rst detach the styling jet
1
and then attach the diff usor attach-
ment

, such that it engages and is fi rmly seated into place.
■
Before you comb your hair out, allow it to cool so that the shaping and styling
can retain its form.

For cooling the hair you can use either the “Cool Shot” button

Cleaning

Always remove the mains plug from the socket before you clean the appliance.

Under no circumstances may you immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids when cleaning it!

After being cleaned, the hair dryer must be completely dry before using it
again.

Allow the appliance to cool suffi ciently before cleaning it.

Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. They could damage
the surface.
Cleaning the housing
■
Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild soap solution to clean the housing
and attachments.
