• Never look directly into the light emitted from the treatment surface.
• Do not use the device for any purpose other than hair removal.
The treatment surface must always remain in contact with your skin when
sending out light pulses.
• Remove the device from your skin as soon as either the skin or the device
is too hot.
• Use of the hair remover may cause temporary pigmentation changes
(see “Possible side effects” below).
Possible side effects
If the hair remover is used according to these instructions, side effects and
complications are uncommon. Nevertheless, every cosmetic procedure
involves a certain degree of risk.
It is therefore important that you understand and accept the risks and compli-
cations that can occur with pulsed light hair removal systems designed for
home use.
Minor skin discomfort
Pulsed light hair removal as performed with this device is generally very well
tolerated. Nevertheless, most users experience some mild discomfort during
use, usually described as being a mild stinging sensation on the treated areas
of skin.
This stinging sensation generally lasts for the time of the treatment or for a
few minutes afterwards. Anything beyond this mild discomfort is not normal.
If this is the case, decrease the intensity of the light pulses (select a lower
energy level). If you are already on the lowest energy level, do not continue to
use the device.
