wounds, open infections (cold sores)
or abnormal skin conditions caused by
systemic or metabolic diseases (diabetes
for example).

traumatized or injured skin.

had recent exposure to the sun without
protection (wait 1 day); for tanned or
sunburnt skin, wait 3 days.
Consult your physician if you have:

couperose or rosacea.

a history of diseases stimulated by heat,
such as recurrent herpes simplex in the
treatment area. If so, you may treat only
following a prophylactic regime.
