line associated with the

Note:

Since there is no I/O panel connection for the RS-422 port (which

corresponds in this example to ttyd48), there is no reason to change it.

 on the additional RS-232 ports.

/etc/inittab

is mentioned you should infer “VME serial I/O controller,” and where “CPU
board” is mentioned you should read “IO4 board.”
