GENERAL NOTICES AND WARNIGS - To be respected when the application is possibile.
Read carefully before using the appliances
Installation:
all installation, maintenance and/or modification of these control units and their devices must be carried out by qualified technical staff. These operations can be subject to specific
technical Standards which must be complied with. The device is envisioned to be used exclusively inside buildings protected from exposure to very high and very low temperatures as well as
tampering by children and/or persons without common sense for the purpose and effects of the Civil Code.
Batteries Rechargeable accumulators and/or batteries of any type:
these appliances use accumulators or batteries, which are potentially dangerous as they are pollutant, therefore
dangerous to the health of the public. Replace the accumulators and/or batteries exclusively with same models, position and connect them respecting the polarity indicated in the instructions. It
is mandatory to dispose of accumulators/waste batteries according to the Standards in force. This is also the case when the machines must be scrapped. The accumulators/batteries must be
previously removed, returning them to the appliance dealer or depositing them in the relevant containers made available by the distribution network. If liquid should escape from the batteries or
accumulators, use silicone gloves to protect the hands and prevent injury.
Liability:
the manufacturer declines all liability consequent to incorrect installation and/or failure to use the devices supplied.
Warranty:
the warranty is valid until the expiry written on the label inside the device in the terms envisioned by the Vienna Convention of 1980 regarding the International Sale of Goods.

network and/or public distribution with any means.
Standard conformity:
more of CE declaration, the products are in compliance with EN 50131-1 - environmental class 3 - and they are declared of category I by the standard 300.220 - 1
(04/2006)
WARNING: these sirens are ONLY compatible with Silenya HT control panels firmware version 3015J and following ones.
1 GENERAL NOTICES
SIRENYA sirens are wireless components of an alarm system which, ringing and flashing, allow intrusion signalling towards the outside and
dissuasion of the intruder. They must be installed on a outdoor wall, preferably in a difficult place to join for avoiding voluntary damaging and
protected from the rain. SIRENYA sirens are bidirectional and have a built-in vocal p.c.b. (see drawing 4), which allows the emission of pre-
registered warning and dissuasive vocal messages. In this way the dissuasive and alert effectiveness of the siren is ameliorated and
personalized, according to the fantasy of the installer and the end-user himself, as the messages can be freely recorded: they can be vocal
messages or suitable sounds, i.e. a dog barking, a feline roaring or whatever else is considered effective for the dissuasive alarm aims.
2 FUNCTIONS
After the programming, the siren only reacts to the radio commands coming from its control panel and transmits to it possible tampering
attempts. In case the vocal messages have not been recorded, they are substituted by low-intensity intermittent acoustic signals (volume can be
settled through the BEEP trimmer – drawing 3) for an equivalent time.
a) Pre-alarm during the entry delay, with emission of
vocal message 1
. High-intensity alarm follows.
b) Sound alarm timed at 3 minutes for each alarm-cycle. Contemporaneous flashing of the indicator light – approximately 40 flashes each min.
c) Vocal alarm (reception of outdoor alarm from the control panel): emission of
vocal message 2
(recording time max. 20 seconds, it is
repeated for 3 minutes) and contemporaneous flashing of the indicator light.
d) Signalling of system status confirmation: 3 BEEPs for arming, 1 for disarming; contemporaneous flashing of the indicator light.
e) Signalling of access to maintenance status, with exclusion of tampering alarm: 1 protracted BEEP.
f) Signalling of closing of anti-tamper contacts: 1 BEEP
g) Signalling of programming made: 6 BEEPs
h) Signalling of low battery: repeated BEEPs both during arming and disarming, with contemporaneous transmission to the control panel.
3 TECHNICAL FEATURES -
Dimensions – Weight – Box –Temperature: see drawing 1
a) Power supply: battery pack PowerPack 861010 9V 12Ah. Average consumption 140uA in stand-by, 1,5A during alarm
b) Average autonomy: more then 2 years. Many arming/disarming operations and alarms can reduce the battery autonomy.
c) Radio receiving-transmitting: simultaneous DualBand frequency – factory programmed digital codes with self-learning ability from
microprocessor – frequency and power in accordance with the law. Radio range: 100m in open air and without any background noise on the
band – range cover can be slightly reduced in indoor use due to the position of the devices in relation to the building structure.
Warning
:
check the radio-range before fixing.
d) Transmission of working status (supervision) in DualBand frequency every approx. 40 min., with low battery indication.
e) Transmission of TAMPER alarm in case of opening and/or detaching from the wall and/or violent breaking attempts.
f) Acoustic power: siren 116db at 1m; 2) vocal message approx. 60 db at 1m, according to recorded volume; acoustic signalling: approx. 60 db
at 1m
