2 Safety information
2.1 Intended use
The SDE04 electronic wire-actuated position indicator is a high-precision
measurement instrument and serves exclusively for capturing linear dis-
tances. The measured values can be read directly on the electronic wire-
actuated position indicator.
Owing to their higher resolution and accuracy, better speed behavior and
additional functions they are vastly superior to mechanical digital indica-
tors.
1. Observe all safety instructions contained herein.
2. Arbitrary modifications and changes to this wire-actuated position
indicator are forbidden.
3. Observe the prescribed operating and installation conditions.
4. Operate the wire-actuated position indicator exclusively within the
technical data and the specified limits (see chapter
9
).
