4.3 Mounting the magnetic sensor
Alignment of the magnetic sensor

Take care that the magnetic sensor is aligned correctly in order to
ensure optimum sensing (see
Fig. 6
).
1. Mount magnetic tape (see chapter
4.2
).
2. Magnetic sensor can be fastened by using two bolts M3 over the elon-
gated holes (for the fastening dimensions refer to the Data Sheet). We
recommend to use the enclosed fixing screws and washer springs (fas-
tening torque = 1 Nm).
3. Place distance gauge with its complete surface between sensor and
magnetic tape. Note: only relevant for sensors without reference sig-
nal R.
