Driver Installation
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 will automatically detect
and install the correct drivers for the USB SoundWave 7.1
when connected.
To Verify Succesfull Driver Installation
1. Right click My Computer, click Manage, then click
Device Manager.
2. Double click Sound, video and game controllers,
USB Audio Device should be displayed.
Utilities Software
Included on the USB SoundWave 7.1 software CD is the
Xear 3D Audio Configuration Utility, Mixer and Equalizer.
Install this utility to provide simulated 7.1 channel sound.
Installing Xear 3D Software
1. Insert the software CD. Autorun should start the
installation. If Autorun doesn't start, click Start,
then Run. Type X:\setup.exe, then click OK.
(Replace X: with the drive letter of your CD-ROM)
2. Click Next, Next, Next
3. Click Finish to restart Windows.
Note: Installing Xear 3D software will change USB
Audio Device to C-Media USB Sound Device in
Device Manager.
