Server 2008 (32-/64-bit)
1. At the Found New Hardware window, click Locate
and install driver software (recommended) .
2. Click Don't search online . Continue to step 3 if not
prompted.
3. Click I don't have the disc. Show me other options .
4. Insert the driver CD, click Browse my computer for
driver software (advanced) .
5. Type in D:\Win_2000_XP_Vista\Parallel , then click
Next . (Change D: to match your CD-ROM drive
letter)
6. Click Install at the windows security window.
7. Click Close at the successfully installed window.
8. At the Found New Hardware-PCI Serial Port
window, repeat steps 1 to 3 .
9. Click Browse my computer for driver software
(advanced) .
10. Type in the route for serial port:
For 32-bit :
D:\Win_2000_XP_Vista\WINDOWS\UART\x86 .
(Change D: to match your CD/DVD-ROM drive
letter)
For 64-bit :
D:\Win_2000_XP_Vista\WINDOWS\UART\amd64 .
(Change D: to match your CD/DVD-ROM drive
letter)
11. Click Next .
12. Click Close .
