1. Enter Master Unit category,
see section 6.2 Menu Tree.
2. Press [DOWN] repeatedly to find
submenu Data Server Connect .
3. Press [F2] to start Forced Data Server
Connection.
6.3.4.3 Forced Data Server Connection
All files in spool directory (see section 4.4) will be sent to the database when this
function is run.
Forced Data Server Connection can also be used as a tool
to test the configuration of the GSM/GPRS system and the data server. During
the connection, a number of progress messages are displayed, showing what is
happening or if any problems are detected.
NOTE
If REG is OFF, and there are more than 8 files queued in
spool directory, information about this will be displayed.
NOTE
If REG is OFF and there are no files in the spool
directory, a small test file is created to ensure there is
something to transfer during the connection.
