Battery Voltage Limits
Monitoring is stopped, and the system turns off automatically if the
battery voltage drops below 2.90V. However, the GSM communication is
stopped already when the battery voltage drops below 3.10V. All voltage
limits are linearly temperature dependent between -30 and +20 ºC, which
is described in the table below.

Battery charging is initiated when:
•
The battery voltage drops below 3.85V, and
•
The temperature is between ±0 and +44 ºC (32 – 111 ºF)
Charging is always disabled when the voltage reaches 4.10V.
If configured, a service SMS is sent when the battery voltage drops below
the ‘BAT LOW set’ level. Also, when the backup battery drops below
2.70V, a service SMS is sent. For replacement of the backup battery, send
the instrument to Sigicom.
1
The State of charge parameter is used for presentation in INFRA Net etc.
2
If battery is recovering from a previous level below ’BAT LOW set’, the Check LED blink
will remain red until ’BAT LOW clear’ is reached again. State of charge will remain at 25%.
