Consider this
•
The S51 Sound Level Meter can be used and stored in a
wide range of temperature. However, allow the S51 Sound
Level Meter ample time to adjust to abrupt temperature
changes.
•
Don’t expose the S51 Sound Level Meter for environmental
conditions worse than IP66. NOTE! The microphone must
not be submersed.
•
Whenever the S51 Sound Level Meter is shipped, care
should be taken in repackaging it with the original factory
provided packaging.
•
S51 shall never be subjected for sound pressure levels
above 146 dB. Note that maximum measured sound
pressure level if the S51 is 131 dBA/dBC (sinusoidal)
•
The operating temperature range is –20 ºC to + 50 ºC.
•
Wind blowing across the microphone will introduce
additional noise. Use the included windscreen to prevent
undesirable wind noise to be added to the measured signals.
•
The sensor cables supplied by Sigicom are designed to
work properly with the system. Please don’t use other types
of cables.
