(1)

RCA OUTPUT

(4)

BASS BOOST

Use these RCA output connectors to connect to a secondary

This a variable control to increase the bass boost at 45Hz from

amplifier. This output PASS-THRU connection derived from the

0 - +18dB of gain, adjust to suit.

RCA input connector so the signal level and frequency response
is the same as the original input signal.

(5)HIGH PASS

   RCA INPUT

Set the crossover switch to HP and turn this control to 65Hz

Connect these RCA connectors to a head unit with a LOW LEVEL

or above when using speaker's smaller than 6 x 9", this feature

   Output connection.

is designed to filter out all low bass frequencies that only
SUBWOOFERS should produce. NOTE : Failure to do so could

(2)

LEVEL

   result in speaker damage.

This allows level adjustment of the input signal. Use this control
to correctly match the amplifier. To set this control correctly,

(6)LOW PASS

turn the amplifier level to MIN and the head unit to 3/4 volume,

Set the crossover switch to LP when a subwoofer is connected.

with the BASS and TREBLE on zero, then slowly turn up this

Ensure the crossover frequency is set at 100Hz or below, this

amplifier level control towards towards the MAX end of the

feature is designed to filter out all mid to high frequencies that

control. NOTE : If the sound becomes distorted, turn this

only FULL RANGE speakers should produce. NOTE : Failure to do

   control down.

so could result in speaker damage.

(3)

SUBSONIC FILTER

(7)

CROSSOVER SELECTOR

This is a variable control that filters out all Sub Bass Frequencies

Set the apprpriate mode of operation. The 3 positions available

   point at 12dB/octave.

   are OFF, LP and HP.

(8)

POWER, STATUS AND THERMAL LED's

at the battery end. NOTE : This is to be last wire to connect up

This shows if the amplifier has been correctly powered up and if

during installation as damage could result.

   any faults are present.

(9)BASS REMOTE CONNECTOR

(13)

REMOTE INPUT

This port allows connection th the (optional) bass control.

This terminal is for turning the amplifier on and off. This requires a
switched postive  (+)12V to power 'ON' the amplifier, this can be

(10)BASS REMOTE SWITCH

found on the rear of the head unit in the form of a electric

Use the switch to activate or de-activate the (optional) bass controller.

antenna output, or a remote on output. If not available you can

wire to the ACC position on the key.

(11)GROUND INPUT
Connect directly to the vehicle's chassis via a 4 gauge power cable.

(14)

FUSES

NOTE : This is to be the first wire to connect when wiring up a amplifiers

Please ensure correct type of fuse is fitted.

damage could result if this not done.

(15)SPEAKER OUTPUT

(12)

+12V INPUT

See 2/1 channel installation diagrams in this manual for correct

This must be connected to the vehicle battery po) terminal

  speaker connection.

via a 4 gauge power cable and with an inline fuse or circuit breaker
