optional modes: 1. Normal (normal mode) and 2. Auto (automatic mode).
Under normal mode, the reader’s indicator light is off for standby status. To analyze
fingerprint, press # key and the indicator is lit. Put a finger on the fingerprint scanner for
analysis.
Under auto mode, the reader’s indicator light is lit for standby status. To analyze
fingerprint, put a finger directly on the scanner for analysis.
VII. Selection of Wiegand protocol
Enter the subdirectory and select 5. WG FMT to set the format of Wiegand output.
The formats include 1. 26bits and 2. 34bits.
The formats are compatible to standard door access controllers. Choose 1. 26bits if
the Wiegand format of a controller is 1. 26bits, or Choose 2. 34bits if the Wiegand format
of a controller is 2. 34bits.
VIII. Setting of device number
Enter the subdirectory and select 6. DEV ID to set reader number.
Input a figure between 1~999. Press # key to confirm the determined device number.
Define different device numbers for every reader when one controller is connect to
several readers.
IX. PC communication
For communication between reader and computer, enter the subdirectory and select
7. COM PC. Press # key and enter the communication status (the second part specifies
the communication between fingerprint reader and computer).
X. Inquiry of record
The reader saves automatically last ten times of door opening. The earliest record
will be covered when the number of door opening exceeds ten. The process is in
circulation.
Enter the subdirectory and select 8. Record.
Select 1. LST RD (browse card number) and browse the record on last ten times of
