It is quite safe to install the EDM eco later in HGV’s, buses and private cars if it is fitted by an
authorised dealer.
In this case the installation need not be approved and the vehicle documents need not be
amended. The units have been checked in this respect by DEKRA.
These units comply with the quality assurance standards currently in force. It is quite safe to install
the units under the above conditions. If necessary you can request the safety certificate from your
dealer (-> next page).
