Consumption display unit connection
You must connect the consumption display unit to the vehicle interface with the connection cable
and if necessary remove it again for daily use or to download the vehicle meter to a computer.
Under no circumstances must you connect the consumption display unit to any plug on another
unit, such as a telephone RJ45 jack. This could lead to both the consumption display unit and the
other unit being ruined.
Never use the cable to pull the plug out or pull on it to check that it is correctly engaged.
Connecting the consumption display unit/ Downloading the
vehicle meters
1 Insert the vehicle interface connection cable plug into the
consumption display unit connection jack.
Ensure that the plug clicks into place.
2 Check that the plug is correctly engaged.
The vehicle meter is downloaded automatically within a few sec-
onds. When the read out (download) has finished, the LED on the
consumption display unit lights up for a short time (-> 10).
