MAINTENANCE
Battery Indicator
A white flashing light seen through the
eye of the T110 indicates that the Test
Source unit is working normally. A
flashing red LED indicates low battery
voltage; a steady red LED indicates
extremely low battery voltage. If both
the white light and the red LED are off,
the battery is presumed to be dead.
OPERATION
If the detector to be checked is out of
reach, fasten as many poles as neces-
sary (up to three) to reach the detector.
Select the correct rotary switch setting
for the detector (See Figure 1). Hold the
T110 in front of the detector, aligning
the “eye” (See Figure 3). In 6-20
seconds the detector alarm LED should
come on, indicating that the detector
being tested has responded. Lower the
Test Source and turn the rotary switch
to the OFF position.
