Overview of messages and symbols
Convention
In this section, "message" is used as a general term for all information that is shown on the
digital display. In particular, messages include the following:
● Alarm messages
● fault indications
● Status information
Display behavior on local user interface
Messages are shown in the measurement view of the digital display.
The digital display shows an active alarm as a combination of symbols and text. The symbol
displays the type and severity of the alarm. The symbol for the most serious alarm will flash.

Characteristics of messages
The following table summarizes the possible types of messages in an overview. The number
of dots assigned to the symbol defines the importance level of the message.
