Qualified personnel
This flowmeter system may only be set up and used in conjunction with this document and

the instructions on the electronic media provided. Installation, maintenance and operation

of the flowmeter system may only be performed by qualified personnel. Within the context

of this Document, qualified persons are defined as persons who have the skills and

knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and

installations and have received safety training to recognize and avoid the potentially

explosive hazards involved.
Qualified personnel possess the following qualifications
1.

Is trained and authorized to energize, de-energize, clear, ground and tag circuits and

equipment in accordance with established safety practices.

Is trained in the proper care and use of protective equipment such as rubber gloves,

hard hat, safety glasses or face shields, flash clothing, etc., in accordance with

established safety practices.

Is trained in rendering first aid.
