Connecting the protective conductor

Connect the rack to the protective conductor (PE). You will find an M6 threaded bolt on the

right side of the rack for this purpose

. The retaining elements (nut, washer and spring

lock washer) are attached to the threaded bolt in the delivery condition.

Protective conductor connector

NOTICE

The rear panel on which the rack is mounted must be metallically conductive and grounded.

If this is not the case, you must ground the frame for a second time at a mounting hole.

WARNING

Electric shock hazard
May cause death or serious injury

•

The protective conductor must be connected to the threaded bolt indicated.

•

The cross-section of the lead to the protective conductor must be at least 10 mm

•

The cable lug used must have a tinned surface to guarantee corrosion protection.

•

When connecting the protective conductor, the applicable national or local regulations

must be complied with.
