Checking the phase voltage and pole position angle using an oscilloscope

Procedure

Carefully observe the fundamental safety instructions and safety instructions relating to

electrical connection.

Switch the drive line-up into a no-current condition.

After the DC link has been fully discharged, disconnect the motor cables from the Motor

Module.

Disconnect the parallel circuit connections between the stator segments.

Using 1 k

resistors, create an artificial neutral point for each stator segment.

Rotate the rotor clockwise, keeping the speed as constant as possible. If you cannot

manually rotate the rotor, follow the separate description below, "Procedure to rotate

the rotor".

For all stator segments, measure and check the phase sequence and phase position of

the EMF.
