Securing cables
Procedure
1.
Open the cable clamp

at the two screws and guide them through the LAN cable.
Applies only to IFP devices: To improve the shielding, you must also strip the LAN cable at the cable clamp. The cable
shield is then fastened with the cable clamp, see section "Result".
2.
Tighten the two screws of the cable clamp carefully until the LAN cable is securely held in place without being pinched.
3.
Use cable ties to secure the connected cables to the selected fixing elements for strain relief.
Make sure that the cables are not crushed by the cable tie.
Result

The ferrite is located between strain-relief assembly and device.

The stripped cable shield (marked in red in the figure) rests completely against the cable clamp and there is good contact:
