Active field distributor AFD4, AFD4 (FM) and AFD8

Active field distributor AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8

Field devices such as measuring instruments, sensors and actuators can be connected to

the active field distributors AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8.
In conjunction with 2 FDC 157 couplers, the field distributors AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8

enable operation of a ring redundancy. You can use the following field distributors in a

segment:

Up to 8 field distributors when using AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8 only

●

Up to 5 field distributors with mixed use of at least one AFDiS and other AFD4 / AFD4

(FM) / AFD8 field distributors

The total number of field devices in a segment is 31 devices and it is limited by a maximum

of 60 mA per spur line.
