The external SQL server can be defined as specified in the following Fig. 34.
Namely:
The SQL server Name, as required to identify the Server in the network
(for details ask your network administrator).
The Authentication technique, which can be based on Windows or on
SQL server. In the latter case, username and password must be entered.

When prompted, select whether you want the server tasks (actually their
System Supervisor
) to be automatically launched when Windows starts up.

, unless you really want to manually control the
MK8000 services using the Start/Stop server commands (see 3.4.4 pag. 40).
