Cleaning the self-cleaning surfaces in the cooking
compartment
The back wall and ceiling are coated with self-cleaning enamel.
They clean themselves while the oven is in operation.
Sometimes, larger splashes of food may not disappear until the
oven has been operated several times.
Notes
■
Never treat the self-cleaning surfaces with oven cleaner. If
oven cleaner accidentally gets onto the back wall or ceiling,
remove it immediately with a sponge and plenty of water.
■
Never use abrasive cleaning agents. You will scratch or
destroy the highly porous coating.
■
Never treat the self-cleaning surfaces with a scouring pad.
■
Light discolouration of the enamel does not affect self-
cleaning.
