time you open the list, they will no longer
be shown in bold.
Opening lists with the
Message key
You can use the Message key

to open
the following list selection:

Answering Machine Message list / Net-
work Mailbox, if your network provider
supports this function and Fast Access
is set for the network mailbox

An advisory tone sounds as soon as a
new
message
arrives in a list. The

key
flashes (it goes off when the key is
pressed). In
idle status
, the display shows
an icon for the new message:
The number of new entries is displayed to
the right of the corresponding icon.
List selection
The lists displayed after pressing the Mes-
sage key
f
depend on whether there
are any new messages.

key does not flash (no new mes-
sages):
All the lists containing mes-
sages and the Network Mailbox list are
displayed.

f
key flashes (new messages
received):
You see all the lists contain-
ing
new
messages. If only one list con-
tains new messages, it will be opened
automatically.
Lists containing new messages are at the
top of the list and are marked in bold font.
