Base station settings
The base station settings are carried out
using a registered Gigaset S45 handset.
Protecting against unauthorised
access
Protect the system settings of the base sta-
tion with a PIN known only to yourself.
The system PIN is one of the items you
must enter when registering and deregis-
tering a handset, changing the VoIP set-
tings or restoring to factory settings.
Changing the system PIN
You will have to enter the system PIN e.g.
when you register a handset with the base
station, change the VoIP settings or start
the Web configurator.
You can change the base station's 4-digit
default system PIN ("0000") to a 4-digit
system PIN known only to yourself.
